Who am I?

My name is Leo Yeo, a student deeply engaged with philosophy, particularly questions surrounding free will and metaphysical questions that drive human decisions. My intellectual journey has led me to explore how ancient and modern thinkers approach agency and self. Specifically, how these ideas resonate in contemporary issues like justice, theology, and public policy. Outside the classroom, I pursue these questions through writing, independent research, and creative expression. I’ve investigated the intersection of neuroscience and metaphysics, written on multiple aspects of continental philosophy and theology. I also founded a UNICEF chapter to put ethics into action and created a documentary on the Nuremberg Trials to examine the legacy of moral accountability on the world stage.

At the same time, I remain grounded in a more personal form of storytelling: drawing comics. What began as a hobby has grown into a creative outlet where I process ideas and emotions in visual form.

For me, philosophy and art are both a part of my journey, a way I try to express and determine who I am and why I am. This portfolio brings together my academic interests and creative passions. I hope it reflects not just what I’ve done, but how I think.
